A quiet spot in the desert, a horse, a burro, a sheep, a goat, pea fowl, genuia fowl, that's my little paradise, surrounded by open space and mountains. You'll find me talking about my days and thoughts of this quiet life.

My Wilderness:
I did a research on Wilderness Living and it led right to my blog. Surprised I read about the day of my buying the property behind me. It is my evening walks that make me aware that I do in fact have a wilderness to hike in , my wilderness. There's a little snake who lives there I see on ocassion. I know the spot. Burrowing owls are making their home there and I often see them on my evening hikes. Quail, roadrunners, rabbits, little chipmunk type critters all live in my wilderness.
This balmy evening with clouds, tangerine sunsets, mountain scapes and the natural growth of scrub trees, prairie grasses, creosotes, cactus and long washes to hike through how could I want more, it's right there in my wilderness.
